Background Information: Unprecedented rainfall in the Gulf Coast area battered the region from Alabama to east Texas, killing several people and causing widespread damage. South-central Louisiana was especially hard hit, with some areas receiving more than two feet of rain. Our rebuild volunteers will be making construction repairs to homes.
Additional Information: Individual volunteers are welcome. Teams should be organized before contacting us in order to provide the number of team members and dates available on the online Trip Application. Meals and sleeping quarters will be provided. Volunteers need to bring a cot or twin size air mattress and bedding, pillow, towels and personal hygiene items. Tools will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own tool belts and small hand tools.
